Quest to make money in the Adult BusinessPost 2 - Aims and Objectives:Okay - so what do we need to get started? Well first of all we need a plan - as I said in my last post we will start with galleries and Freesites which I will explain more on shortly. But first we also need to have an overall plan so we have a clear route on how to make cash. If you are starting a business you have a business plan we should treat this venture in the same way. Obviously we are going to learn new things all the time so we may want to fine tune our plan as we go along. However we do need some sort of long term plan to start with so we can see our path ahead. There are many different routes you can take but this is one which I feel is best for me and probably good for you too. To start with I will point out some aims to help us build up our plan: 1. Short term aims: a) A site with content. 2. Long Term aims: a) Increase the number of sites or the content we have on our sites. Lets break these aims down so we know why we have them: 1. a) A site with content - Well we need a site with something on it so that we surfers have a site to come to in the first place. 1. b) A means for the site to make money - Well are goal is to make money and if you have a site with content on but no product to sell then your only way to make any money is by advertising someone else's product (usually a pay porn site in this case). 1. c) People to go to that site - We need people at the site otherwise the advertisers are not going to pay us. Having made a website with some good content on with some nice adverts just is not enough. More than anything you need people to come to your website and you need them to come in the thoasands. Thinking long term: 2. a) Increase the number of sites or the content - By making more content and more sites we have more and more to display to surfers which will help bring more people to the site and help us display more adverts. 2. b) Find the advertisers which will earn us the most money - Some advertisers will end up paying more money than others depending how well our site sells their product so we need to keep searching for the best advertisers. 3. c) Increase our traffic to the highest levels we can - Quite simply the more surfers we get to our site the more money we can potentially make from advertisers so we must keep on working at getting more traffic (people) to our site. So we need to make a plan which immediately tackles our short term goals and helps towards our long term goals. That's where freesites and TGP Galleries come in. So let me finally explain what a TGP Gallery and a freesite is: Freesites and TGP Galleries - What they are and how they differ:TGP Galleries:A gallery is a single page with porn pictures or movies on it. Galleries usually advertise a porn paysite. So by making a gallery you give your surfer some porn to look at while advertising a pay site to them which works towards points 1a) and 1b). If we keep making galleries all the time then we are also working towards 2. a). For some example galleries take a look at http://www.shemp.com/shemp004.htm and you will see a shit load of galleries listed on that site so now you know what galleries look like. Galleries are listed on TGPs (thumbnail gallery posts). www.theshemp.com is an example TGP, another is www.thehun.com - You will get traffic to your galleries by submitting your galleries to sites like these (tackling point 1c). The traffic you receive from these sites to your galleries will be in the thousands but the traffic is low quality as it is full of surfers who are generally not interested in paying for porn so are not interested in your adverts. The traffic is also short term as your site tends to get dropped from the TGPs within a few days or stuck in the archives. However because of the sheer volume of traffic you should make some money from submitting your galleries if you do it right. A freesite:Commonly a four page site consisting of a warning page, a main page and 2 gallery pages which have porn pictures or movies on them. Having 4 pages means even more content for your site than a TGP gallery. Have a look at www.link-o-rama.com and www.hoes.com and you will find lists of freesites so you can learn what they tend to look like. Link O Rama and Hoes.com are called Link Lists (LLs for short) and these simply list freesites in a similar way that TGPs list galleries. But there are some very important differences:
The above is good because freesite surfers are more likely to be interested in your advertising as it is what they are looking for (providing you have kept your advertising specific to your content). The downside of freesites is that they take more work to make as they are 4 pages and the traffic from Link Lists is a lower quantity than that from TGPs, but this traffic been higher quality makes up for it. Another great point about LLs is that they tend to list your freesite permanently so you will still receive traffic for a long time (even if only small amounts). Also search engines love freesites because they have more text content than galleries and permanent backlinks (backlinks is something I will discuss more later) meaning more long term traffic from search engines. Search engine traffic is the highest quality traffic you can get. Note: The galleries on freesite can be converted to a TGP gallery making it possible to make two galleries from each freesite (but some important changes do need to be made which will be discussed later). So to sum up: Making TGP Galleries and freesites and submitting them to TGPs and LLs gives you content for your site, a means to advertise to surfers, and plenty of traffic. TGPs get more traffic which is lower quality and short term whereas LLs give you less traffic but it is higher quality and long term.
